Natural selection is about the survival of the fittest, but it is not perfect. How can we fix it?
Episode 11
"What Reality Really Is"
Synopsis
Our senses create an image of the reality, by fast pipelining information into the processing centers of our brain.
But our senses have noticeable limitations and boundaries, which beg the question: what part of reality are we not getting?
This episode explores how our senses evolved to fulfill certain functions but not all of them, and how the world is composed of many more realities we cannot detect and grasp.
What other senses could we introduce by engineering A Perfect Human?
Is this a mere thought experiment, or do scientists expect humans will acquire new senses through technology?
